BTW- the weakness in INTC today is probably due to the announcement that Microsoft has selected AMD and Nvidia to supply the chips for their new game box.

Really?, many have been laughing at amd for 17 years. Nothing like a little run to bring all t he 17 year losers out. Have you checked out the insider sales at amd lately?
