geekland, That MSFT quote ("this is one deadline we won't miss") reminds me of a recent radio ad where a reseller was touting their systems equipped with Windows NT, "even more reliable than Windows 98." Andre

LOL!!! It's obvious from your posts that you do not work in the computer industry Hee hee...... Now... I agree with you that MSFT is not an innovator. I would never argue that they are. They are pirates of the industry... but don't mistake their inability to get W2K out as a theme. W2K had to be rock solid which is why it took so long. Question for anyone on the thread. Can anyone guess why it was so critical that W2K be rock solid??? Those with business savvy may be able to figure it out. OG
