jc, actually i use the new explorer optical mouse from m$ft. It's the only "optical" I own, btw. <g> I have win98 behaving now. I think I am ready for linux and samba. I think I might go msft free, like you and qwik. Not totally. I have w2k that I haven't had to REBOOT once because it choked. Only for installs and things. You should check it out. I bought 100 shares of wtm at about $103. they own 25% of fsa, which is halted on news. I am the only geek who knew that wtm owned this much of fsa. think there's a market for that kind of specialized knowledge jc? <g>
