Well old buddy, this company has certainly been a disappointment. Remember the days when the plan was a million subscribers by ye 2000 and initiation of limited service when 32 sats were up? Seems like a long time. I agree that Globalstar was, in a sense, fortunate that Zenit crashed. They were hopelessly unprepared to do anything at that time and it is now becoming clear that Zenit did not delay anything. FWIW, I did not know Bernie way back when. It seems clear to me that whatever his past success and his noble and respectable gestures of putting his own dollars behind this, he was not up to this undertaking. These delays are inexcusable and pathetic. What were they doing the past three years to have been so unprepared when their time came (last September to be clear)? How sad and revealing that this management with a superior system, no competition, a booming demand for telecommunications in general, and a low marginal cost, is having such a difficult time executing their plan. Let's hope they are learning on the job.

PS. I find the Harley thing very, very sad. It seems really bush league to me.

Regards, Dave
