This is the mentality that has made AMD a second rate company for over 20 years. You should be looking for sustained profitability instead of following Jerry's vendetta.

This deal is small change for Intel, but could have been huge for AMD and that's why Intel probably chose to undercut AMD at the last moment and offer MSFT a deal it couldn't refuse.

I wouldn't freak too much over this....as long as AMD continues to execute the way it has, there will be a lot more opportunities.
