You would think so (i.e. Q included in the SP500). However several had said on the JDSU thread awhile back that Q was not included. I have never researched that. If Q IS in the SP500 then these moves are disconnected. Both happened at 1:30pm though. Same time.

Life has a funny habit of teaching us hard lessons. I wanted to thank LindyBill again for selling me those shares at $126. btw, there is a rumor that Nokia and Q have reached an agreement on CDMA royalties as well as progress on the China front and this is what's moving the stock.

On another note, I suggest that many of the participants here go back and reread the first 1000 posts on this Thread so we can again discuss the true spirit of what this Community is supposed to be all about.

From afar, it looks as if this Thread has turned into a *traders paradise* which is inconsistent with what the original founders of this masterpiece wanted. I, for one, suggest a re-examination of the principals of what we are trying to accomplish here.

Just my opinion, and I apologize ahead of time if I have offended anyone, that was not my intention.
