Although not skilled at technical analysis, I seem to remember something about high volume declines. I have been consistently struck by the higher than average volumes that have characterized this downturn. Obviously for every seller there is a buyer but...some people are willing to absorb a considerable amount of shares at these levels. Hopefully, this means that some smart money thinks that weaker/frustrated hands are throwing in the towel now. If G* fulfills even partial expectations, they make out like bandits.
