It is amazing, and disquieting, that you should misread so thoroughly. I am one of those who is, in some sense, religious but does not believe that the Bible is without error. That is the purport of neither believing in atheism or inerrancy. All I said was that I found the arguments for each equally plausible, which is true, and certainly nothing you are in a position to gainsay, and that I am no more inclined to hold belief in inerrancy against some than to hold atheism against others. How does that stop thought? It merely states my position.......
