hey rich,

neat story. inspiring, really <g3>.

the latest version of systemworks (is it 2000?) has email av protection. but i understand that there is a gaping security hole present also that requires a patch available at the symantec site.

but what you related was not an email function, was it (when the coworker copied to you)? the intercept must be a result of a auto protection setting, probably a default one at that. ya think?

on a somewhat related note.... as standard practice, whenever i download a file to my hd, prior to opening it i right-click it and select 'scan with norton av'.

also, i am reading excellent reviews on norton's personal firewall. when it's time to renew my blackice license, i may go with norton.

:)
