DSL is great. I downloaded Eudora's client in about 90 seconds. It would have taken me 90 minutes over dial up, and I can use the phone while I'm logged in. I use Wit capital, and when they have new IPO offerings, you can download the prospectuses, which used to take 8-25 minutes per IPO. It now takes about 10 seconds. It's even better than a LAN with a high speed connection (at least as I recall). I'm amazed (once it got installed properly). If the telcos can roll this out to everyone (with g.lite and thus no on-site tech dude), I'm sure every internet user will want it.
