YHOO had phenomenal earnings, and took a big hit. the sell on the news phenomena seems to be alive and well. CMGI is looking great. ITs the #1 stock in my portfolio, and it and YHOO are my two main internet positions. The other stock i really like GLW, Corning Inc, in the fiber optic sector. Think we might see some further retrenchment in CMGI in the next week or two, then should rocket. (unless the whole market tanks). I follow ICGE and it went down from 150 to 100 or so on fears or unlocking of restricted stock. there was no mass selling and the stock has rebounded sharply (back to 142)
CMGI is a much more solid company than ICGE, much further along in its developement. larry

Now that the Record date for the IPO has been made public, we may see some selling by those who bought too late to get into the IPO. Like the guy on Clear Station who had his CMGI shares called on January 21 and who bought back in on the 25th. Missed by one day. How many will get out rather than hold?

Do you guys think that IF CMGI announced a 2 for 1 with the recent quarterly financial results, that we would be sitting on a stock run-up right now? Any thoughts? While I am more interested in actual milestones and results that support the business plan going forward, it seems to me that we only get good solid, upward stock activity when we have a split forthcoming?

CMGI Long Disclaimer: I am not complaining that we didn't have a split, nor am I putting down DW, CMGI, or anyone, so please all of you board "protectors" relax with decaf this morning. I am a CMGI long, and I do truly believe that this is the most undervalued quality, I-net company
