If the same number of cars (for a slightly lower price, say) is sold with substantially less labor input (as was the case in the example that I had provided), that itself pushes productivity up, which is a ratio. More number of cars, if sold, is just gravy.

So, your statement that the less the gross revenue the less the productivity is incorrect. You are missing the key point that I was trying to make, that unproductive labor is being weeded out. AMZN is unprofitable by choice, look at GTW or DELL to see how profitable the direct model may be.
