What's up with the two new companies CMGI will form -- global network and caching? Is there anyone here willing to take a stab at describing what these companies will do? Even some guesses and debate about the possibilities, time frames, competitors, etc. would be welcome. Zen - Have you bumped into anyone with enough technical knowledge to know what these companies are about and why DW is so big on them?

Brian, I find your sarcasm gratuitous to put it politely... on CNBC, more than once the broadcaster said in reference to CMGI that it is one of the better performers... but never have I heard him / her say that it was #1 NAZ performer for the past 5 years... furthermore, CMGI is up there no doubt, but that does not equate to being the #1 NAZ performing stock for the past 5 years ... to some, and I am one of them, I like to verify the information I hear or read ... and if that means I have to ask questions that makes some people's jaws drop, I would tell them to be careful of the flies getting into their mouths ... some like to rant when they feel like it... no response is needed, or desired ... unless you have factual referenced information and not general statements like every magazine, and every financial paper with a financial section and every enlightened Joe Shmo knows... and the like statements ... the only thing I unfortunately agree with you is that some, and may be even many, do not know much about stocks they own or trade ... but there is a difference between owning stocks and trading them for short term profits... regards amein alsuezi
