Enjoy your goose-egg omelette! I've been through one bought-by situation here on Hilton Head -- horrors at first but they seem to have gotten squared away. I re-upped a few months ago -- paid a year in advance (@$10.50 a month).

Soon as I move, I'm getting cable but this will be a nice back-up.

I have a pal here on Compuserve (they use same dial-up numbers as AOL) -- Busy City.

Can you get Mindspring? I haven't heard anything horrible about them yet.

If I had to give up ONE, I'd miss e-mail a lot more than my phone.

Mike

Ish, Netcom which merged with Mindspring about a year ago has always given me reliable excellent service. The few times I have used their tech support, they have been terrific. Never a busy signal, twenty four hour access, plenty of email space (although I am not sure how much) and some other industry standard goodies like homepage space.

You may want to check for a local connection in your area.
