you should read fred langa's comments on blackice (i posted the url) prior to purchase, imo. especially his remarks about them being "behind the curve". if correct, i agree with him that it's not a good place for a personal firewall company to find itself. i've been wanting to switch over to the norton product (because i've had such great success with their stuff) but will probably wait until the one year blackice license is up for renewal. if i'm not mistaken, at the company's option they can come in any time after one year and charge for an extension on the license. good luck to you. :) mark
