My mantra is " the bear market in old economy stocks will end soon after the bear market in new economy stocks begins."

Hi:

I've been thinking the same thing, however some of the beaten down old economy stocks still have PE ratios of 20, 25 or greater which is still above historical averages and well above bear market lows. Do you know of any historical precedents of how old economy stocks have done in the past when there have been new economy manias and subsequent corrections?
