Still think it can't help but be partly political when Clinton does something this stupid. Hope those recent polling numbers are for real....

I apologize ahead of time to those who support Bill. I'm sorry I can't share your enthusiasm. This think that's been going on with MSFT hasn't helped my perspective!

Morgan,

Maybe my dd should include sending a paid prostitute to Clinton to find out what other mischief he plans<ggg>.

Interns are cheaper and, in his case, just as effective. :)

Trouble is, as an investor - trader - you are defenseless against these kinds of sudden political news. I did my due diligence, I was extremely thorough, and I picked my stocks with care both from FA and TA point of view. Then this happens. What am I supposed to do? With stuff like this, it amounts to a gamble. I wonder why I bother doing all this work, if with one speech from the White House, everything is in ruins.

That's part of the reason I won't invest in biotechs. Not to be critical or pretend that you aren't already aware of this, but for me part of the due diligence is to realize when I as an investor am more out of control of the situation than need be. As an example, I'd also never invest in an airline because I have no control over the price of gasoline that dramatically impacts their bottom line.
