pretty soon you'll be calling And another thing!

Those smart aleck programmers will give my fridge and Italian accent, and the microwave a german accent, so... When I go to get something from the fridge, it will say: "Back for more, Punzone?" The microwave will say: "You gonna try to defrost that TV dinner again, instead of cooking it, dunkopf?" And they'll give me a high strung burglar alarm that will keep me awake at night saying: " What was that noise outside?" I won't be able to sleep till I agree to go check it out...When I ask where my shotgun is, it will say: "The shotgun is being cleaned, take the baseball bat." So as I'm walking through the laundry room with my baseball bat in hand, I can watch the barrel of my shotgun swirling around out the top of the washing machine. When I get outside, the alarm system locks me out. I can hear them all inside laughing it up and saying: "Dave's not home." And I'm stuck outside in the snow. So I start throwing pebbles at the bedroom window to wake the wife. The alarm keeps telling her not to worry, it's just a bear. And the dogs are telling each other that they're gonna have to share the dog house again with me...I know, I know...I'm supposed to look forward to voice recognition and my new high tech home...

found MSFT to be a viable possible threat to dominance of voice recognition? I knew last summer they had a holding in LHSP

if you can point me to a lead i'll be happy to follow it.
voice is big...sure msft will try to play somehow...ibm and intc have announced previous initiatives too. fonx too.

i am trying to find companies that have viable products and announced design wins. lhsp and gmgc have that going.

i tried ibm via voice...did not like it...that knocked out ibm for me.
