John, I live in San Francisco - just relocated from Los Angeles.

I'm speaking of corporate dollars, with a national branding campaign. Big time stuff, network television, to build an image. Corporate image. They FINALLY have a great product and they need to build on it.

Smaller comparison but a few years ago I bought a SyQuest drive, which competed with Iomega. Iomega had a great name but a FAR inferior product. I bought $3,000 worth of Syquest stock when it was at $3.00 - company went under. No biggie, but that I think is a fair comparison.

When people SHOP, they might price shop. If you give 50 people the option of buying a 600 mhz computer, one with an INTC and one with an AMD, I'd bet the ranch 45 would pick the INTC. The other five would be gamers.

Dave

I'll let it rest on the board. I was just hoping to get your all's opinions, thanks! I'll pursue the issue, though!
