Thanks for the message.

My statement is correct under the implicit assumption that we will neither ADD to nor WITHDRAW from the AIM account.

Of course your point is well taken. One should also explain, I believe, how a withdrawal would reduce the portfolio control.

In the revised version I will make clear the implicit assumptions and add a version of your comment.
