Ratan, I don't think that there is a real definition for "smart appliance". How smart is smart? No one knows. A cell phone needs Internet connection, because it will be the most oftenly used mobile computer for human to interface with the Internet, whether it's for data acquisition, interactive applications, or control applications. As for stationary home appliances, I still don't see a compelling reason for them to be connected. On the other hand, the Internet radio and the digital picture frame are real "smart" appliances that WRS can participate in. Khan
