As the title for this thread clearly warns us, "Sell when they are singing in the streets." They were singing a few sessions ago. but now the flip side is to "Buy when the streets are dripping with blood."

I'm more interested is timing the long term cycle of the industry. I don't think we've even come close to the signs we had in the summer of 95. As long as the long term trend is up, we can trade the short term "waves" by the dips and be on the safe side.

Likewise, when the long term trend is down, I want to sell short the bounces and cover the sell offs.

What do you think is the #1 sign of a top?

I feel it's the fab announcements and the backlog of lithography tools.
