Krisalyis
_________

I walk among the forest trees
Being moved by the mountain breeze
I look to add to my world inside
Of memory, love, time put aside

I step out into forest glen
and see a deer lit by sun streaming in
I see the power of freedom she lives
The strength her timid approach gives

I realize I am an intruder here
A momentary trespasser that could give fear
I step into the sunlight clear
And softly touch my dear

I went to a poetry reading last night @ Washington University.

Bought a Muldoon book and had him autograph it. ( He was the guest speaker and read some of his new and old work.)
