Hello Bill. Thanks for the WSJ article. I had read it already. I subscribe to the WSJ online and offline. My daughter gave us the online version for Xmas, so now I have to read "Bearons" again also. gg. It comes with the online version. At this point I am paying no attention to Gore etc. I can't believe we see one face on CNBC more now than we have in 7 years combined. I think they have Clinton on sev. times daily. I read Frank's posts on other threads and have to admit that he is right as far as this meltdown is concerned in the NAZ. Yes, the NAZ was probably due for a correction anyhow but Clinton did his thing the other day on the Human Genome stuff. He threw those statements out and probably knows a BIG 0 about it. So when you ask those guys about particular things about this subject, no one of course knows what they are talking about. Probably the only thing they know about Human Genome is what they have laying written in front of them, including Clinton. Not explaining immed. what the repercussions for the biotechs and pharmas were, did to the NAZ and the DOW, on the first day and to NAZ ever since, what Greenspan could not do in the past 2 years. gg. I think it would have been a bit more appropriate for him to talk about OIL and GAS prices in details and especially about oil cartels. But he just loves to tip toe through the Pharmas and biotechs. Not to say that this Genome thing is not important. But please, have someone that understands this stuff do the talking. That way things can be explained. The cos. themselves had to come out and set things partially straight but there are still many unknown things in the air. I have to go along with Frank, even though he did get a lot of flack, good job Mr. President. I am sure things in the medical field would have gone on just fine this week without this speech and you could have concentrated more on things that are going wrong at this time. Did we hear about 2 people that were indicted on illegal campaign fund raising in the last week that worked for reelection of the Clinton/Gore administration and the Teamsters? And yes. Gore of course is now a big fan of campaign finance reform except for Unions. GIVE ME A BIG BREAK. Anyhow. Everybody is following the herd and is plowing back into those out of favor stocks in the DOW. Surprising when you think that tomorrow is triple witching. The NAZ is still laboring. First we had a call for NAZ 4800, then 4700, then 4500, then 4400 and the latest we get out of those analysts without a clue, is another 5% down for the NAZ. Anything can happen, I guess. I am sure nobody is an expert on this right now and most everybody is going with the flow. But I am still sticking with my NAZ stocks. Sigh. Some of my big losers are raising their heads a bit today. It looks like triple witching is today. What a volume in the DOW. It will probably break a record and if the DOW goes back up over 382? we will have the biggest point gain ever in 1 session. But %wise not even near a record. I just checked and the DOW is in for a record point gain day. The NAZ is on the plus side again also. It's on a roller coaster ride all day. Are you still holding the stocks you purchased a while ago? Sonny What do you know. DOW up over 470 and the NAZ over 120. Maybe I should write some more gg. Take care.
