Hey Good Morning IBM folks!! Hope to join you soon. I've had IBM on the radar for a long time. I don't think there's ever a "bad" time to be in this company.

From Briefing.Com this morning:

09:02 ET IBM (IBM) 109: Company announces thatits researchers have made a radically new class ofmagnetic materials that may one day allow computer hard disks to store more than 1 tln bytes, or 100 times more datathan today's products.

I am one of those who believe we'll see around 2005, terabyte HDs on PCs being announced and even coming out. IBM will be a leader in this (I'm satisfied, even the pioneer). I believe the "need" for this will arise because of more & more demanding-software server solutions for networking and internet applications.

Who knows what GHZ we'll be?

All the best to you today IBMers!!!!!
