I am sure it is a mistake, but I see 58 1/2 on the ask. Anyone have any insight?

This is sweet: The last I have from Ameritrade is that for Aware,

Bid: 46 7/16, Ask: 55

If it weren't so ridiculous, I'd be tempted to curse.

Elroy, a fine post, however, not so believable. What you are doing is blowing things out of proportion in an attempt to make an argument. It maybe that you have some feelings for the professional side...nothing wrong with that, but it could blur ones vision.

Your "huge conspiracy" comment is understood and clear to me. I agree it in the context you use. And the poster who you responded to at first appeared to me to be a bit angry or disappointed or something, and reading between the lines is how I read that post.

My point is this. When knowledge of something is gained without the public also knowing, it provides one with the ability of profiting off the other. It will be acted on to some degree at some level on some occasions. AND suspicion of this happening will indeed always be present. Things like greed, human nature, need, temptation all play a roll. The act of profiting may not happen as a grand plan on the job, but it may happen at the cocktail lounge, in the back of the taxis, at the urinal, in a closed-door meeting, or some other place. We have all sat and watched as stocks roared up or down in price without having a clue as to why. It sets off a scramble to find out what the cause is. Later we hear the news came from a closed door meeting with analysts present and was responsible for setting off the increased trading activity. I?m NOT talking rumor; I?m talking about actual news coming out in a closed door meeting with analysts present.

Don?t know how far up you?ve been in a large organization, but few need to know that much about the grand scheme of things. The answer is to open the meeting doors as I see it.

The barbarians are at the gate,
