And just when you have convinced yourself that he wasn't really there... You realize that the crazed ol' prospector had gone to cash. And the cackling laughter from the Crazed One drifts maniacally down from the haunted mesa over the purple sage. And you think, 'He knew, the PINK one knew....' And you shake your head and chuckle....picturing that bathrobe flapping about his knees as he wandered into the sunset laughing....and wondered what the hell he was laughing at.... I wish that I had gone with him....done time trials on the 'fastest roadrunner' or searched for the biggest jack rabbit.....or watched the sun rise over the mountains.....as I sat on cash. lee
