And I just read some of your iridium thread and was pretty taken aback. Is it true that the sats are only good for another 3 or 4 years in any event before they fall out of the sky? What kind of stupid plan was this? I'm sure I'm missing something pretty basic. -g-

And is it also true that there is a treaty to pull down what may turn into space junk? I guess that is one reason why MOT is still so concerned since gov'ts might give 'em all sorts of problems if they walked away like their good buddies in crime such as china would do.
