Pegged Norton System Doctor CPU Usage Sensor:

Any idea of what is going on when my CPU usage sensor goes up to 100% and stays there? I am not multitasking or running any intensive programs. Nothing looks out of whack in my close program box. The only way I can get it back to the usual 1 - 2% usage is to restart.

I have a 733MHz Dell with 1/2 GB of RDRAM, but the same thing seemed to happen on my old system. Is it a problem with the Norton Software?

Thanks,

George D.
