Aus - If they acknowledged your ideas, they'd have to give you credit if they used them. If they don't acknowledge them, they can use them and say they never saw your ideas -- it was THEIR idea they used. My suggestion: Next time you send them ideas, print two copies and seal one in an envelope. Take it to the Post Office and have them stamp it across the seal to establish a time and date for doing so. Then file your copy of the ideas away, plus send the other copy to the company. If you ever see something IDENTICAL to what YOU suggested used in print, you would have proof of the date and time you suggested it, and you might be able to get management's attention if your attorney were to write them a letter relating your situation (if this really mattered to you).
