(DVNTF). It closed at 3 7/16, up 5/16, on six times average volume. After today's gains, DVNTF has nearly quadrupled since January. The latest move was sparked by the announcement of Mr. Ralph Philipps as new Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company. He previously worked at GalaVu Entertainment Inc. (?) in a similar role. While he may be more than qualified, that is not a reason for the stock to go up 10%. Diversinet definitely has some interesting prospects, but gains this substantial are not logical unless there is something we don?t know. Investors should expect significant profit taking with this stock in the coming days barring any major announcement. This profit taking has been evident throughout DVNTF's run with major gains usually in the mornings and significant consolidation in the afternoons. I still think the company is building a base, but before I get too excited I want to see some more evidence that this company will realize its potential. There are still too many lofty expectations for the future, and not enough actual results. For more on DVNTF, read RagingBull.com?s Market Meditations article.
