Steve, I have no idea what it is that I wrote that gave you this impression. MU's convertible debt is quite "straight", it has a floor, or even a fixed conversion. You might have misunderstood my exchange with Mike, he asked what are floorless instruments, not in connection with MU convertible. No misapprehension here.

If MU's debt was floorless it would be a call to all shorters to come and short the stock. Shorting companies with floorless instruments is like shooting fish in a barrel.
