I did pick up the suggestion of "death spiral" converts from the exchange of posts you mention. Sorry about my own misapprehension of what you were saying. The real question in all this talk about convertible debt is the impact any conversion would have on MU's common. Some dilution, obviously, but it seems to me the total number of shares involved--20 million--could easily be absorbed without a problem by MU, certainly without sending MU into a tailspin. What I suspect will send MU into a tailspin is an earnings shortfall. Whether that will come Tuesday or later will be interesting to see.

Zeev, even the floorless dogs have made big moves lately. WSTL, WAVC, WEBB, to name a few. This market is getting so nutty, you can't even count on finding fish in a barrel any more:-)
