Hi Bernie,

Along with "Aim High and Keep Some Powder Dry" I have another slogan, Minimum is not Optimum.

Very well stated. This minimum business is what Tom hammered on me about while in Orlando. One benefit that Robert and I have with Newport is a history of our trading mistakes. One of the things I noticed is that both of us have had trades on the wrong side of the Moving Average. I'm very careful about that now and like you I won't make a trade that is less than four digits on the sell side.

This is also where the Vealie comes into play. One of my experiments for this year is five new watch lists where I pull a Vealie on every other sell request. If the cash reserve is in line with the IW then this kind of puts me in the two week range that you speak of. The same also applies to the buying side of the equation.
