earlie i read in the nat. post that nortel was # 11 in mkt cap on the s and p five hundred...and it ain't all that far from big blue !

I think you are right on. I have been watching the semi's since they always go down in the summer...maybe it is different his time!!!! My sense is most of them have not started to roll over yet.
