OT: "I've been trying to educate myself about the players/ winners in the genome game"

Ray- Genomics...hmmm. I did about 8 hours of DD on a little microcap called Millennium Pharmaceuticals(sym:MLNM). I felt I knew enough about them from my DD to take a position at $9/sh. Then I set aside five straight 10 hour days to study the industry. At the end of 50 hours of DD I said to myself, "Do I know an iota more today than 50 hours of DD earlier?" My answer was, "No." So right away I sold my position in MLMN at $15/sh and thought I made out like a bandit. Then I watched it rapidly shoot up to $315/sh. And to this day, I still don't understand it.

So I'm sticking to something that has a lot of mass. That you can see without a microscope. I'm not even a fan of those solitons or fiberless light thingys either. It's good old telecom equipment investing for me!...At least for now.<g> -MikeM(From Florida)
