I think you are correct. But China will be very reluctant to let Taiwan go independent as I think they would see this as a loss of face. But I see this from an Anglo perspective. Perhaps there is someone on this board that can shed some light from an authentic Asian perspective as I truly think the thought processes are different.

The real key to me is whether the USA will be involved if indeed something breaks loose there. But logically, it is unlikely anything will happen as indeed China does not have the technology edge Taiwan does. They do have a lot of whatever they do have and could probably swamp Taiwan if they wanted to simply from numbers.

Whatever happens, I cannot see it occurring overnight.

China could give the USA a run for its money pal...wake up!!! AND.....what fire power does Taiwan have right now? I belive very little, zero, zip...and none are the answers!!

TA wise CUBE/HLIT not looking so hot...bounce was weak...but near the 50MA like Lane sayz. Critical week on my end, HLIT could give it's first weekly sell signals since it's last buy on 10/20/98 @ $$6!!!!!!
