FredE, China is a third world toilet in every respect. For starters, they don't have a navy. They literally have a few ships. They don't have any landing craft or amphibious assault ships which is absolutely necessary to wage an invasion on Taiwan. Their fighter aircraft is 1950's at best and they have NO bombing aircraft. Yes, they have intercontinental ballistic missiles but all espionage hyperbole aside, China couldn't hit the broadside of Nevada. That's a fact.

China is best off focusing on their abject poverty in the mainland. Have you ever been there? I have. It's a third world toilet - and will remain so until they overthrow that moribund, centralized planning nightmare government.
