Buying Hilton Hotels (HLT). Lodging sector up 12% last week. Real estate, online education, and traditional oriented value stocks place to be next couple years.

Dear Zeren gao: I think that you are right. Telecommunications isnt going away and in fact the vast expansion of broadband should benefit WCOM. Wireless provided by Sprint would be nice, but not if the cost is too high. JDN

First, I think the deal goes through. Second, if the deal does not go through, the street will punish WCOM for not having a wireless business. The street hates uncertainty and the termination of a FON deal will heighten uncertainty. The question(s) would become: Does WCOM buy Voicestream/Powertel or Nextel and How much will they have to pay.

I like a WCOM-FON combination very much but I have been adding to FON instead of WCOM for precisely these reasons.
