in2tech - thanks for finding that article. I looked all over, searching just about every source and came up dry. Way too many articles to filter.

The next step in the maturing process in the birth of an industry is coming. It shouldn't come as a surprise. Most of us remember a couple years ago when inets were tarred with the tulipmania label, and so many people were drooling with the prediction of how the bubble would burst. Well, it didn't.

Companies that were shadows became real. Companies without profits became profitable. That companies without sound business plans will ultimately fail, or be swallowed by companies with good management is simply economic darwinism. This is both good and necessary. And CMGI will be one of the sharks, not the minnows, swimming about the inet ocean.

Having been presented with innumerable private placements over the years, I have seen so many fascinating concepts emerge from people who lack basic business acumen. The problem often isn't the business, but the plan. A good idea in the hands of a techie who understands nothing about business is a shot in the dark. A good idea in the hands of a smart businessman is a better investment. We are fortunate to have a very smart businessman in DW who appreciates technology and its future. Another good reason to feel good about this company.

in2tech, thanks for the link and the excerpt... I already confessed my ignorance of the matter, and apologized to Brian Maloy... once I attain a certain level of comfort with a company, I do not follow it very closely... definitely not as closely as many here on this thread, I just keep myself updated on it and look into other companies that could be rewarding on a shorter time frame... I have more than attained that level of comfort with CMGI long time ago... so, I only look for opportunities to buy options and more shares... what is somewhat surprising to me though, is that it seems the market, despite of all what has been published, still does not value it, or so it seems...

best regards
