Ibexx,

I can't remember the names from P, but remember Fuchi (?), one of the all time greats.

They come and they go, but there is always a new skeptic waiting his turn to be foolish.

What happened to all those characters?

They probably joined the great anti-CSCO jach in puppy heaven.

Ibexx and All,
We must talk nice about our AMD brethren.

In 1993 I followed my leader Jerry Sanders III to New York for our annual pilgrimage (Stock holders meeting).
In 1994 I repeated the above pilgrimage. I worshipped at his feet, until he misled the flock. You may remember the ICE code debacle, so I left for the true leader: INTEL. The Intel stockholders bash in Albuquerque on May 4, 1994 was the greatest stockholders meeting ever! Switching over from AMD to Intel have made us lots of $$$s while our AMD friends have been suffering.

The picture is even better for the six year chart, but humble me don't know how to pull one up. (Actually, MSN Money Central is the greatest, but required downloading).

You ask why people are still loyal followers of AMD? I don't understand why. I think it must be a cult thing. The thought of performing a collective memorial service in the Intel shrine and pray for their eternal peace is indeed a noble thought that will come under consideration...humble carl
