Finally got my position trading (margin) acct opened along with 2 cash accounts. Etrade says something has to come up or bring your accounts to their attention for them to close your accounts (i had bitched about some bad fills recently and requested they be reviewed). Etrade 'higher ups' claim they are 'cracking down' on people who have tons of accounts and taking advantage of any promotions. n/s! anyway, i got the impression that unless something brings you to their attn, you may be ok. Will be interesting to see what other traders experiences are with etrade in the near future.
