Hewlett-Packard, Cap Gemini Release Mgmt Systems

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Cap Gemini S.A. (F.CGF) and Hewlett-Packard Co. (HWP) released management systems supporting Internet Protocol-based, next-generation telecommunications services.

In a joint press release, the companies said Cap Gemini will provide overall systems integration services, while Hewlett-Packard will provide systems support of IP-switching technologies for public networks using Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO) hardware.

The two companies also delivered their first joint project to Swisscom AG (SCM). The Swisscom installation manages all alarms for the IP Standard Services data networks serving enterprise customers.
