There's a "Demand Shareholders' Meeting" letter posted on David Isaac's Adhatters/Envirotech site.

My question is, are the boards of the companies compelled to act on the demand of one shareholder ? What's the law in the USA regarding this? Do a minimum number of shareholders have to agree to this, or in David's case, can one shareholder with control over a substantial number of proxies demand the compliance of the board ? What are David's chances of success here and what are the implications of being his petition being dismissed ?
