Shareholder Meeting, Audited Financials...

Audited 1 yr. financial statements are now available in PDF format at sedar.com

I wasn't at the shareholder meeting (conflicted with work), but I called Bob Bateman today to get the following:
- Only 2 shareholders showed up at the meeting.
- All motions passed.
- Looking at potentially participating in a number of other energy-related projects.
- May get a few more directors on the board with oil and gas background.
- Good seismic year; very positive preliminary results that should be revealed in the Q2 report (3 months ended March 31, 2000). Report is expected to be released by end of April.

Regarding the 1-for-5 share consolidation, Bateman says this will probably only happen if it's somehow tied into a deal of some sort; he'd prefer not to do the consolidation just for the sake of doing it (thanks!). So we may not see it happen at all.

Also, the poor turn-out might be attributable to the fact that some shareholders didn't receive the information circular and proxy. I didn't receive mine this year, but I have received the information from the previous three years. I'm not sure what happened there; also no posting from the transfer agent at SEDAR regarding the information being mailed out.
