I see on the website I listed below that IMCL shows trading a block of 905,000 at 16:27:36 today. Can you verify this? This has to be wrong, doesn't it? TIA

PCTL up 14%..A perfect cup and handle formation, an imperfect stock that has lost money consistently. It just recently had its estimates lowered in the last 7 sessions to $-0.41 from $ -0.18 just a few days AFTER IBM chose PCTL of all companies for its videoconferencing overseas???!!???

March 9, 2000 ANDOVER, Mass. (CBS.MW) -- PictureTel shares soared 35.5 percent after the multimedia company said IBM chose its videoconferencing service for overseas use.

Shares of PictureTel (PCTL: news, msgs) gained 3 11/16 to close at 14 1/16 amid heavy volume of 6.9 million shares; the daily average is 830,100 shares. IBM added 1/2 to close at 107 1/2.

IBM (IBM: news, msgs), which is trying to cut the expense of business travel, will use PictureTel's videoconferencing service in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

IBM noted that its current mix of videoconferencing systems makes meetings difficult.

"Using PictureTel's Conference Services means that we can concentrate fully on the meeting content, rather than the technology," said Peter Atkins, IBM's conferencing services manager, in a statement. "We don't have to worry about establishing the connection or resolving technical issues. PictureTel makes it as simple as possible and this will encourage more people to use the service.

Jenna,

Is the uptrend already confirmed for the biotech sector or more time is needed?

It appears that most stocks are at or approaching short term resistance levels (those they've lingered at before taking the last dip).

My mood is telling me that the short-mid-term buying may be signaled now. What's your take?

Thanks.
