Robert Rose: **OT** I felt short-changed by my time and place in history. <g>

While truly we may feel shortchanged at times, as we see the on going improvements in technology and processes. However, I have always felt all steps in a journey are just as important. Take just one step away and the journey stops.

While we middle aged folks and especially the younger folks look forward to what technology foretells, I can't ignore the excitement humanity must have felt during events of the past. When those living at the time saw a man step onto the moon or when folks got their first glimpse of an airplane or how Europeans felt when Columbus discovered North America.

Ah to have experienced it all...<g>

Regards,
LG

>Was quite impressed with USC.

The problem with USC is that 10 feet outside the walls are the slums of south central LA. During the riots a while ago, cars were burning within shouting distance of the gates.
