Is there any reason to assume that Tyco will stop supplying components to other undersea cable companies, just because Tyco is building its own cable system?

I don't quite understand the story, tyco is covering any perceived void with their new cables. However I consider Lu as an absolute buy and own them in my long term portfolio to which I added quite a lot in the last few days due to weakness in the stock. Still think Tyco is the big daddy in this field and would look for lu to make some deal with them. GBLX is also an interesting stock in a high growth field but I am out of that stock at the present. IMHO would welcome discussion and view from anyone else.

Edit: I believe Gblx is a major customer of TYCO.
