Hadrian - thanks for your technical insight. I will look for the book you recommended. I too have no desire to sell my CMGI and have an average basis low enough where negative movement does not affect my position, only my morale. It is fun to watch the stock soar and a bummer to have to sit through down days even though the lows are getting higher.

Best wishes,
Jim

Hadrian,

Interesting analysis. I have one of Murphy's other books and agree he is good at explaining TA without dumbing it down.

What is your opinion of the very near term. I have long term shares and April calls (130's). The recent pop to 150 was reminiscent of the CMGI of old, but then it evaporated and seems to have trouble getting revved up again. Do your charts suggest a further period of consolidation? Or another pop to new highs before April expiration?

TIA,

MAD DOG

Thanks Hadrian.

I have always wanted to learn the technical perspective on stocks and I plan on picking up the book you recommended.

I would also be interested in hearing your read on CMGI going forward short term and long term.

Richard

Hadrian,

I disagree, in that I see a "trading range" with support at 105 and resistance around 145 since mid-December. I'd keep a core holding for the long term, and trade between these two levels (either with shares or options).

And I'd second your recommendation of Murphy.

JMHO.
