Too stressful! Hans works in the boom and bust oil industry and our number one (and only) rule is cash for everything. I think we're Murphy's prime target and I'll wreck my covered call strategy at the same time as the oilpatch goes down the toilet.

Now I have to start building a new cash position but I still seem to have a mental block with the CCs. Why does selling puts seem easier than writing covered calls?

I'm hanging on to a few remaining shares, July calls and LEAPS in other accounts so I haven't totally deserted the mighty Q (although JDSU is my all-time favourite as I bought it 17 months ago at a split-adjusted $4).
